Computer Mayhem and Maths

Aim for the day File all of Harriets work and update work diaries, so we can see what had been done this term. Found a few holes in her maths, eg she new what she was doing but we had no proof she could do it so we did a few photos and tested a bit, shes tired now and grumpy so what should have taken one hour took closer to five. Joe spent the day playing with sylvannian famillies and just being. Tomorrow we are at the museum doing more of our time line of life, then home to do either geometry or Ancient Greek myths what ever she fancies. Joe has requested reading eggs and some I pad based montessori activities. we also need to bake a cake as the brownies from the weekend are all gone. This is meant to be a frugal blog too, so after a cupboard sort out we needed to buy £21 worth of groceries and £6 of that was dishwasher tablets that were on offer and I'll last am age. This weeks meals will be Tuesday chicken wraps coleslaw and salsa. Wednesday cottage pie Thursday spag Bol Friday chickpea tagine as a veggie friend is coming Saturday fish fingers for kids as friend and I may consider a take away and Sunday will be a nut roast for all with lots of veggies, goodness im a twit I forgot the nuts for the roast........... And as for computer mayhem the computer ate a 5000 word essay, what a day. Until tomorrow!

Hello Hello Hello

Its a good place to start with an introduction! im Rusty Mum to Harri 9 and Joe Joe 5. We have always homeschooled, lots of montessori with a waldorf twist, and in a previous existance I was Montessori trained. We also encompass special needs ( smallest has had a heart transplant) and starting to be frugal, I have a mortgage I would like to see the back off. I'm aiming for daily posts with a plan in the morning and a review at night but we will see how it goes. Watch this space!
